Create three otherwise identical price cards labeled “lifetime,” “permanent unlock,” and “one-time purchase.” Randomly assign one card to each willing reader, then ask the same questions about recurring charges, included benefits, account requirements, future services, refunds, and what could legitimately end access.

The hypothesis is that “one-time purchase” paired with a concrete benefit description will produce fewer incorrect assumptions than the alternatives. Define the answer key and primary measure before collecting responses, rotate card order, and retain “uncertain” rather than generously translating it into correct.

This would be a wording test, not a promise that any label overrides the terms or keeps a service operating forever. A report should publish every card, question, scoring rule, response count, and uncertainty interval; until then, no contender gets to boast that it defeated eternity.

The protocol gives plain language a fair bout with immortality.
